The standard Honda CRV B-serie transmission is used in our builds but the gearing is not suitable for small 12 or 13 inch wheels. Therefore we convert these transmissions to a 4.0 final drive and longer 1-5 gears. With this conversion the mini will be much more driveable and will give you better rpm on the highway. These are custom build to order and will take around 4 to 5 weeks.
The diagram shows the difference in gear ratio between the stand CRV transmission (Blue lines) and the custom build transmission (Green lines). With our transmission you can achieve 2850 RPM @100km/h (5th gear).
The AWD transmissions from the K-serie engines has the same problem as the B-series.., the gear ratio's don't work well with 12 or 13 inch wheels. We have a solution for that and use the gears from the "diesel" version called the
N-series. with some mods and suitable dual clutch kit its possible to use with the petrol K-series engine and provides much better gear ratio's.

This RWD 6 speed has a complete custom gear ratio and is specially designed for the RWD and FWD conversions. comes with a 4.1 FD and the total gear ratio is calculated for 13's, Fully rebuild!
